This is your first introduction to the accounting side of this blog.  This is my Monday through Friday, pays the beer tab gig.  After five or so years in public accounting, I am now an internal auditor for a regional insurance company.  In all, about 800 or so people work in the building.  Now for those of you who made it this far, don’t worry.  This post has nothing to do with accounting.  Its about the game.  It all starts with an email.

Hmm, sounds fun.  Why not?  I send back the 1 and go about the day.  I hear a few others mention a “weird email”.  Good, I’m not the only one.  So what is the game?  Assassination.  According to the rules of the game, everyone receives a target and a code word.  My goal is to assassinate my target while avoiding falling prey to another assassin. To assassinate your target, just tap them on the head with a spoon.  Simple enough, if you can do it without being seen.  The only way to defend your self from a would be assassin is to quickly stick them with a sticky note before your head is on the receiving end of a spoon smack.

So that’s how you play the game.  We are one week in and I am out…  Hopefully we do this again in the future.  Try it out at your office (if you can get away with it).
