Easter Crawfish Boil
Our family has a great Easter tradition, as do many great New Orleans families, of having a holy week crawfish boil. Today I boiled up 110 pounds of the good stuff for the family. And today is your lucky day, because I am going to share with you my famous grand champion recipe. Wait, no. That’s worth too much. Maybe some other day. However, no good boil is complete without good beer. My father in law gave up alcohol for lent and figured Abita Andygator (clocking in at 8% ABV) was a good way to ease back into the swing of things. Enjoy some pictures from the day, and happy Easter y’all.

Today’s Beer
Today I went on another little run and finished it up with a cinnamon roll (I ran and deserved it) and the other Mardi Gras Bock I had left in the fridge. I’ll have to move on to the New Belgium party pack next.
