Beer shed project

As I have mentioned in a previous post, I recently bought a nice little beer fridge.  I went ahead and put it out in my shed.  I think the set up right now is perfect to start a nice beer/entertainment area.  The shed is 12×20 on a permanent slab connected to my back patio.

Now that my beer cooler has found a home in there, I want to add more personality to both the interior and exterior of the shed.  My first project is to make a beer menu to display all my current brews.  I found the idea on twitter a few weeks back.

The idea is to get a hold of a shipping pallet, sand it down and stain it.  Then paint it with chalkboard paint to give you a menu.  I want to put the beer names down one side, and the style, brewery, and ABV down the other side.

I found a guy to get the pallet from, so hopefully I will have an update for y’all within the coming week or two.

Steins Haul

I recently went to Steins for the first time with a friend of mine.  After wondering around looking for the beer room, hoping we weren’t stumbling into the employee break room or anything, we found New Orleans beer nirvana.  Since it was our first trip here, I didn’t want to break the bank and buy everything.  This is what I came home with:
